Help with a Specific Challenge
Struggling with one specific behavior or situation that isn’t improving? A focused assessment can help you understand why and what to do.
Help for Complex Challenges
Are there multifaceted or persistent challenges that are significantly affecting daily life? A more in-depth assessment can help you understand what’s happening and how to move forward.
Behavior Assessment & Partnership
When your child is struggling, it’s not always easy to understand why. Assessment helps explain what's influencing your child's behavior so we can create a plan that's tailored to their needs. Our Parent Partnership provides the guidance, coaching, and support you need to confidently put that plan into practice.
Assessment and partnership are forms of treatment provided for a specific child and fall within the scope of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst’s professional behavior analytic practice.
🔎 Focused Functional Behavior Assessment (Brief FBA) + Guided Support
A focused assessment is a good fit if:
Your child is struggling with one specific behavior that has been resistant to other approaches (e.g., tantrums, self-injury, aggression)
Maybe there is more than one challenging behavior involved, but they all center around a common situation or context (e.g., school drop off, bed time, morning routines)
You want to be proactive and prevent the behavior or situation from escalating
The goal is to better understand why the behavior is happening and for parents to develop the skills needed to implement interventions with confidence and consistency.
Includes:
• Parent interview and information gathering
• Focused functional behavior assessment
• Written summary with simple, easy-to-understand behavior support recommendations
• Two follow-up consultation sessions to review progress and adjust strategies as needed
Fee - $950
📝 Comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessment (Full FBA) + Guided Support
A comprehensive FBA is a better fit if:
Your child has multiple or more complex challenges across a variety of settings and people
These behaviors are significantly affecting your child’s learning, socialization, safety, or the safety of others
What you’ve tried hasn’t been working, or may even be making things worse
You’re looking for an in-depth, individualized plan of action that includes patterns, triggers, and environmental factors that are contributing to the challenges.
The goal is not simply to reduce difficult behavior, but to better understand the child’s needs and create a plan that supports independence, safety, communication, and growth.
Includes:
• Detailed parent interview and observation
• Comprehensive functional behavior assessment
• Written behavior support plan with clear, applicable recommendations
• Two follow-up consultation sessions
• Email support during the implementation period
Fee - $1,750
*Services focus on parent consultation and assessment and are not designed to replace intensive therapy programs when those are needed.
