Your questions, answered

  • No. Blueprint Behavior Consulting does not provide ongoing ABA therapy services.

Instead, we offer virtual parent coaching and behavior assessment. These services focus on helping parents understand behavior, build skills, and implement practical strategies they can use at home.

If formal ABA therapy services are needed, we can help families understand what to look for and how to choose a provider that is right for them.

  • Coaching and consultation focus on education and strategies that can be helpful for many children. These services help parents better understand behavior and learn practical ways to support their child.

Treatment services, such as those based on a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), are individualized clinical services designed to address specific behaviors in a particular child.

Blueprint Behavior Consulting offers both coaching and behavior analytic services within the scope of BCBA certification, depending on the needs of the family.

  • Parents often reach out for support with concerns such as:

    • challenging behavior (tantrums, aggression, self-injury)

    • daily routines and transitions

    • communication challenges

    • self-care skills and independence

    • other school, community, or home behavior concerns

If we determine that your child would benefit from services beyond what we provide, we will help guide you toward appropriate resources.

  • Sometimes.

Most services focus primarily on coaching parents and caregivers, since they are the most important and consistent part of a child’s learning environment.

In some cases, services may include direct interaction or observation of a child, particularly when conducting assessments or developing individualized behavior plans.

  • Services are provided virtually, allowing families to access support regardless of location.

Virtual consultation has been proven to be highly effective, particularly in regards to behavior management.

  • Blueprint Behavior Consulting takes client privacy and confidentiality seriously. Services are provided using secure, HIPAA-compliant technology for video sessions, scheduling, and communication whenever protected health information is involved.

All client information is handled in accordance with professional and ethical guidelines, as well as applicable privacy regulations.

If you have questions about privacy or confidentiality, we are happy to discuss them before services begin.

  • Parent coaching and consultation can be provided to families anywhere in the United States and internationally.

Behavior assessment and treatment services are limited to states where the BCBA is licensed to practice, or to states that do not require additional licensure beyond BCBA certification.

If you are unsure whether services are available in your area, please feel free to reach out.

  • We specialize in early intervention and working with young children (typically under age 7), with a focus on supporting parents and caregivers.

  • Blueprint Behavior Consulting currently operates as a private pay service and does not bill insurance.

This allows services to remain flexible and focused on the needs of the family rather than insurance requirements.

Families may be able to use HSA or FSA funds, depending on their plan. We are also happy to provide superbills upon request.

  • Services are provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with professional training in applied behavior analysis and experience supporting Autistic children and their families.

  • Many parents reach out simply because they have questions about their child’s behavior or development. A consultation can help clarify whether parent coaching, behavior assessment, or another type of support may be helpful.

If it seems that another service would be a better fit, we are happy to help guide families toward appropriate resources.
